Hacking .SAV file to an NDS file???

can a .SAV file be converted back to a NDS file?

I transferred some games from my DS lite onto my computer but they are saved as .SAV files.Is is possible to convert them back to NDS files or do i have to download the game again?

there should be a nds file in there to
that is just the save file for the game

you may have just got the SAV (SAVE FILE) for the game
,sav file is just the SAVE data for your games

.nds are nds ROMS (the GAMES)

they are 2 different files

Hi I def dont have the NDS version of the game on this computer as i didnt download it to this computer. I just thought mayb there was a quick way of copying this game to my friends dslite? but the .SAV file wont play on her ds.

There is no NDS version. You have a savegame. When you save your game your flashcard creates this .sav file so you can load your saved game. The game (the nds file) has to be on your flashcard, if it's not there you deleted it. You will have to redownload the game (nds file) and put that on your friend's flashcard. If he wants to use your savegame you will have to put that on there as well, and it needs to have the same name.

ok thanks ..looks like im gonna be downloading all the games again...and my internet connection is soooo slow!!

Seriously? Wow..

Anyways, yes they can be emailed, but if your connection is super slow, then it's still gonna take you a while to download them. Best bet is to get a CD or a USB drive or something with the ROMs on it.
