$140 for a 8GB MicroSD?

No thanks. I wouldn't touch anything with that price tag. And the durability of a piece of paper.

I think I'll stay away from SDHC for a while. I'll hide in my little corner.

Well you are paying for something which is integrated as one, rather than buying 4 2GB cards or whatever. It's not a bad entry price; it'll go down very soon (same thing happened for their 4GB cards)

I got the $60 w/shipping ones they had on RealHotStuff, 4GB SDHC. I' pretty happy with it, especially since I ordered on Saturday and got it on Monday afternoon...fucking RealHotStuff are the best. Their service is just mind boggling, but that's off subject. Too bad I don't have my CycloDS yet, or I'd be in heaven

Edit: oh, and for less than $140 (w/oshipping) you can get a 500GB HDD off of Newegg. Just as a comparison

Its like everything else SDHC is still pretty new. The prices will come down. Just look how much the sony pro duo memory sticks have come down for the PSP. At one time a 4gb sony stick was well over £100. Now you can pick one up for £30.
