if you dont care about that one, single game not working properly then get the 4GB and enjoy all that additional storage space

Well, it's not just that one game. If one game freezes on slower card, then there are bound to be future games that will freeze too.

Couldn't have put it better myself!

@ps3ud0
I think suspect there is the odd Class 4 sandisk 4GB around, as a few users on TC forums have had very good benchmarks & observations from their cards. Unfortunately sandisk did the dodgy on their earlier cards and didn't mark them with a class number. Mine's unmarked, and its definitely a 2

The 4GB sandisk is slower than the 2GB kingston jap, and will freeze in castlevania. So if you REALLY need to play castlevania then get the 2GB.. if you dont care about that one, single game not working properly then get the 4GB and enjoy all that additional storage space

Not to be a whiner, but the word "jap" is considered a racial slur. Please try and spell it out next time. Look: Japanese, Japanese, Japenese. Not so hard.

You are really ridiculous. Telling this man he has to type out a whole word, LMAO!

He was abbreviating Japan, not Japanese. So you tell me how a country is a race? Japan is not a race, it is a country. He was not abbreviating Japanese, which are the people of Japan. Regardless, the dude wasn't being racist, so stop trying to be the PC-PC-police.

    One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

    Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
