I think the first one would be better due to the much better elements on it, plus it gives you defense.
Try them both out on a hard stage and see which one gets you through it more easily.

Yeah, though I'm more likely to invest in Musou over Spirit, I think the increased agi, defense and elemental power will balance out whatever small loss in attack there is.
 
ZOMG my game fell out my pocket on the bus, does anyone know if Ninty wised up and made 3DS games save to the system/SD card or did I just lose 40 hours of gameplay?

Uhh, I'm pretty sure they don't.
The Extra Data and StreetPass Data are saved on the system's SD Card, but actual game progress is still saved on the game cartridge.

Yeah they don't. I went to GS and they let me see before I paid for it. 3DS games do not save to the system
