I don't think I could really consider The Legend of Kage 2 a samurai game either...It falls more among ninja if you ask me.

I guess Bleach is about as close as you'll get, unless you use Kenshin on Jump Super Stars...

FFTA2 has a samurai class...

but thats really not what your asking is it. i really dont know any.

It really is a shame that out of a pretty huge catalog of DS games there seems to be only one game that even comes close.

There was a Dynasty Warriors game that came out some time back. I tried to get into it, but couldn't. The combat seemed okay, but the objectives were kind of all over the place. Not sure whether or not that qualifies as a "samurai" game, but the dude has a friggin' sword, so close enough.
