Bloody hell. We have an R18+ rating, and they don't even use it.

Will have to go for a pirated copy until we get it locally.

So, they're pretty much forcing people to pirate it or go without...
The Last of Us is somehow R18+. I played through that and can say, without doubt, that it should have gotten an MA15+ Recommendation at the very most.
From what I gather, the games that would have classified as 15+ are now coming under the 18+ mark. So, we're left with the original problem...

So they released some information about the censored version of Saints Row 4. Not only is the Rectifier weapon being removed, but Shaundis loyalty mission is also being removed (not censored in the way SR2 was censored in germany, but removed).

Any Australians planning on buying should look into getting it gifted to them by an American via Steam.

In further news: The modders were given access to a preview build, which means the modding tools may be available on day 1.
