ok i had play the game a little mroe
the destiny thread that allows you to perform chain attack
will also affect on your relationship between your team mates
they are a few different thread varied from friendship, love, family, hatred, competing and etc

as you use them it will changes your relationship between your team mates hence affecting your TEAM NAME

with different TEAM NAME it will trigger different events through out the course of the game!

damn! SAGA is good with this free scenario thing!

EDIT: mrfatso, i think that the skills you learn will auto perform during chain attack

i see, darn, so now this is how they gona messed with the free scenario thing.

Question: If say i used hatred thread, does this means that they hate me more or less? Same with kindness

your relationship with your teammates will be hatred

well you can change your relationship over the course by using different thread
however, i think they will always use the first thread on your thread menu

you started of as childhood friend then after messing with a few thread it goes like

close friend - bad friend - lousy friend ...

well you don't need that to be translated
your chinese would help you to understand what each of the thread means

i was messing with the thread from love - friendship - personal - against - hatred
now they each of them have different relationship with each other

the chaining makes it nice

1 round kill 7 monsters
so with chaining i don't see a problem having encounter with 40-50 monsters

The most monsters I've been able to chain together so far is 16 or 17, but it's really fun to see how many you can defeat in one battle.

This whole threads of fate thing is throwing me off tho. This is all new to this version right? Oh and in the giants world I have been turned into a butterfly and can't leave town. What am I supposed to do ????

Anyway the game looks fantastic I can't wait till an English version is out. I've actually debated importing the saga dsi it looks so sweet. I just wish I had more money lol.

have you like check the pub or maybe any alleys to the back door of the pub ? (based on GB version)
then after the event
you should head to the giant's house
it is accessible on a hidden door or something (outside of the town)

the thread of fate is something new

i only hope the game would do well in terms of sales
so SE would revive the series

There seemed to be several people in town I had to talk to, I had just missed one of them. I've already been to the giant houses, I just didn't remember that event from the gb version lol. It's been so long.

edit: I also just can't help thinking about threads of fate (the ps1) game when I hear those words together. Ah Rue and Mint...

now there's another title I'd like to see ported over to the nds. lol

Hi guys just wanna check weather are u guys playing the raw rom of this game or is it a patch version?
Causes it seems that the rom that i downloaded doesn't seems to work after it go pass character creation screen.
Btw i'm using r4 with 1.18 if i'm not wrong...help plz...

you need to patch the game
however, the anti piracy kicks only after the heroes father jump out of the window

the thread of fate here is not really related to the one with PS right?
the one over here is like determines what are the special events you would encounter
