Homebrew Safest way to downgrade to 9.2?

No, it's not for piracy, ITS FOR ARM9 AND STABLE LINUX (cuz memchunkhax2 is a bit unstable)

Also, I'm talking about the iso site someone posted a tutorial on accessing that seems to require 3.8 GHz, I will never visit that site, ever

I'm on 10.1 on an US o3DS via menuhax(memchunkhax2 seems to work well on mine, booting into linux 2 times in a row)
What is the absolute safest way to downgrade? Ik these facts:
* Use safesysupdater
* Check md5/sha256 anyways
* Charge the thing up, and plug it up anyways...
* Auto DNS

there is no safe way you either get lucky or you dont lol.

Well, if you dont go to the site, you wont ever downgrade. Simple as that.

Sorry @iKittenz had to step out for a few. You can catch a virus from any site or app or what have you if that's what your worried about. The most annoying thing is pop ups but just DL a popup blocker for your browser and you will be fine. But if your that nervous about this whole thing honestly IMO you should probably bail. It's all super simple but you only get one chance kinda thing as well. Don't want to convince you otherwise.

Well, guess what everybody, I bricked my 3ds before downgrading! I formatted it when the 3d slider didn't work. -.-

Nintendo's fault from not thinking about if the 3d slider didn't work, during the system setup.

I used the normal sysupdater on my n3ds and was able to downgrade on my first try, after formatting my sd. Maybe I just got lucky, but I think you'll be fine.

Uh what? 3D slider had literally nothing to do with this....I don't even know how you can brick it before a downgrade lol. Did you try safe mode?

He means that his 3d slider is faulty, and for the setup process after you format, you need to use your 3d slider for part of the setup process.

Just send it to Nintendo. Worst case scenario they give you a 10.4 refurb, but i'd rather have a functional 3ds.

Oh! Gotcha, it's been so long I forgot that you even have to do the slider part. Should be a simple fix with a tiny bit of prying if just the slider itself is broke. Unless you mean the actual function is.
