Misc safe to play wifi with roms?

i was wondering if its safe to play a wifi enabled rom through my router? does my ip go to nintendo?

I've been doing it for every WIFI enabled rom that I have, I don't think Nintendo notice that the games are "fake" as far as they're concerned it's a real cartridge. Though I have noticed that if you try to use the WIFI before the games official release it doesn't work, probably because the server for those games aren't "switched on" yet until the day of their release.
