Hello. I've been trying to use a cheat engine table I've found for Paper Mario TTYD (Switch) on RyuJinx. The table itself opens fine, but once I've added the process and tried to activate any of the options, I get an "invalid address for readmem error", followed by an error that says "Access Violation". I have the mapped memory option enabled and have uninstalled and reinstalled cheat engine. I've done everything I can in game to pull up any memory it might be looking for and nothing works. It only worked the first time that I opened it, but after that, it stopped working.

What can I do to fix this?

I did just test the table as well and I am getting the same exact errors, the settings you have enabled are correct. Where did you get this table from? It could be how an error with how the dev built the table. IMO

It was from the actual cheat engine cheat table site. Can the table be fixed? I'm not really familiar with coding, so I wouldn't know a lot.

It might be due to the CE table being for a different BID from the one you have for the game. Does the CE table specify which BID it is for? And if it does, does it match the one you have? Just like cheating on a physical switch, BID is a thing for emulators as well.

there is only 1 version (BID) available for the game

First things first, a simple reboot might clear up any lingering memory issues. If that doesn't help, I found some tips from guidedhacking's GitHub. You have to make sure that the version of Cheat Engine and the cheat table you're using are compatible with the version of RyuJinx and the game. Toggling the mapped memory option can also help, but you might need to try different memory scanning options within Cheat Engine to see which one works best. Also, both Cheat Engine and RyuJinx should be running with administrator privileges—this can help with access violations.
