Hacking rxTools_2016-01-22_17.00-fe18563 BlackScreen

I download rxTools_2016-01-22_17.00-fe18563 install on New3dsXL and used cdn_firm.py for download firmware file by python 2.7. But file downloaded size 1 Kb. After run rxtool it's cann't show anything (Black Screen). But i restore old version in can played. How to fix it. Thank you.

You need the firmware.bin from "that iso site" or from reinand's github. Just search "reinand github" on Google.

I put file firmware.bin into folder firm in rxtool folder. My 3ds it's black screen again & i rename firmware.bin to 0004013800000002.bin. it's black screen again

I had this problem with a lot of the nightly builds. I just went back to 2.6, and am waiting until the official 3.0 comes out.

so arent the nightlies "OFFICIAL"???.....see plenty guys on 10.5 old and new.....so whats gonna change????? it must work for those guys. i just wish they wd share how to do it, cos i really miss rxtools. it was simply the best....

As far as I know they are experimental nightly builds. Basically a trial and error while they work towards a stable release. I dunno, 2.6 works fine for the time being, so I am content with it. No guarantee that the 3.0 build will be perfect or anything, but I can wait and see.

Thanks for that information.....whats the highest emunand you can have with v2.6 rxtools.....its a great build i use to use it lots....had all you needed then....thanks again....

Currently on 10.4. 10.5 is said to work fine though. (I am on an O3DS)

will im on n3ds.....i have it on my o3ds with 10.3.....but ill make do with reinand at the mo......

so even though we have a autoboot cfw thread we cant use the latest rxtools?! damn was wondering why i was getting a black screen
