Homebrew Running DS games while debuilt

I've heard that you can run Wii games in Dolphin while debuilt/unpacked, making file swapping very easy. Is something like this possible for any DS emulators?

Is it so hard to have a copy of ndstool and a batch file that can remake things with a double click?
99% of the time you will probably want to be opening the ROM again, if not closing and opening the emulator just to be sure that the file was not loaded into the DS' memory.

DeSmuME has support for overriding files in the ROM. Pick slot 1 type "retail debug". Can't remember the folder structure you need, though.
