original post:
What model number is your PS3?
CECHL01

What firmware is your PS3 on?
Now it's on half 4.65

Is it a hardware problem?
probably yes

Is it a software problem?
no idea

If it is a software problem, have you made sure that you have downloaded the latest version of this software?
I got update from sony's site.

Are you running CFW?
no

What CFW are you running?
no

Is your console bricked?
probably but not sure.

If so, do you know why it's bricked?
doesn't start\RSOD

Have you ever downgraded your console with hardware flashers? (Teensy, ProgSkeet, E3 Flasher, etc...)
not that i know.

Have you tried searching the forum for someone experiencing the same problem before posting?
yes but nothing helped.

Describe your problem:

Hi, i'm having a big problem with my PS3 now.
I got a used PS3 but when i tried to start the system i got error "system could not start properly.".
when i took out HDD and formated with windows, nothing worked. i put update on pendrive and try to install with safemode but only got RSOD when close to 50%, i already tried low level format too and use another pendrive with the update but still nothing. and now when i start ps3 i got directly a RSOD.

The weird thing is even before i made things worse than already is when i tried to use options at safemod i got a restart.

The HDD seems to be working fine on windows, i don't have another one to test but if really necessary i can look for one.

No idea of what could it be?
thanks.

ps: sorry for copy/paste :P
