i do remember seeing some good rpg makers for the PC (eg was the dink smallwood game)... it mainly begs the question of limitation but the features as mentioned are really impressive and kinda more than what u would expect

Well a few nonessential things are cut out, importing of sprites is cut out but that's in all console and handheld RPG Makers, and scripting is also cut since it's a handheld game. A lot of the essential features should be in this game along with the extras and of course new stuff such as DLC.
