How does this work? Ins't it romfs.bin? Is saying filename.romfs? New format I guess.
New format most likely since you cant just change the foldername to gameid.romfs. The naming only works when renaming code.bin to gameid.code

Isn't .romfs the name HANS puts on folders? Try gameid.code as the folder name.
The only issue with that is, it will override the first option. if you're looking at the description smea put he wants a different name for romfs

So, we know that

1- We need the full RomFS from the ROM
2- There's no way to legally dump a ROM on 9.2+ yet

So there it's. I don't know why smealum decided this approach of completly swaping the romfs, insted of replacing the new files selectively. This means that to use romhacks, we will need to get a ROM from somewhere else...

Not entirely. I figured it out. I just need to finish a few things.

Its just a matter of the hack authors to upload a different file

So how you make it into a .romfs format? I may be wrong. I have a romfs for smash but I'm lost on where to put it at.

So, how would it work then? We would need to compress the romfs folder somehow?

With the romhacks, would it overwrite the save on the cartridge or be it's own seperate save?
