Hacking ROMDAT folder on EZ-Flash V firmware 2.0 RC3

Hello!

I was browsing through my SD card for my EZ Flash V card when I found this weird folder named ROMDAT. It wasn't there earlier. Inside, I find .DAT files made by the card for certain games. So I was wondering if I should just ignore it for the time being or delete the folder?

I am using EZ Flash V with firmware 2.0 RC3.

Help would be excellent!

RC3 is for the Vi, but it existed in RC2, no clue what it is for, use the readme file.

Surprisingly, No readme supplied!

And RC3 does work on the V Plus. No kidding!

5. 文件夹的中文日文显示 (able to display chinese, japanese in folder)
6. 开机速度优化 (increase startup/booting time)
7. 删除复制移动. (i think they added move, copy and delete)

Sorry about that. I just had some doubt.

Anyway back to the problem. I continued searching for any answer on the ROMDAT folder. Found nothing so far.

.dat files contain configuration of every roms you have configured. If you enabled softreset and than click save in rom setting window, the .dat file is created in ROMDAT folder to remain this option. Also cheat codes field selected are stored in this file.

Does that include in-game modifications?

No, those modification are done on the fly by the Hybrid mode engine. Only parameters you have selected in rom window are stored in .dat files.
