I have about 600Mb of songs downloaded from the Wii Music store using that DLC hack that's floating around. Everything works a treat for awhile but after some time I'll get a message from the Wii saying it doesn't have enough blocks free to save my game. So I restart the Wii, delete some old save game files (nothing RB2 related mind you) then fire up RB2 again and all of my save game info is gone and I have to start a new.

Any idea wtf is going on?

I get this same message, I freed up 1000blocks. And still all the DLC is being copied to the nand during play :/ Or at least thats what appears to happen.

Exactly, it's with every time I go into RB2 it's got to copy shit to the SD card/NAND with each play. So flippin' annoying. Not too mention that I'm worried it's going to wear shit out with all the writting.

I've restarted the game about 8 times now due to save file dieing. I delete the DLC off the Wii and when I finish playing/get the save message of death I go to the wii data management and guess what? The DLC is back on the Wii's NAND.

Same here mate. I don't know what the hell is going on. If you delete the NAND info off there and go back into the game you'll notice all DLC stuff is gone. Go back into the Music Store and download 1 song and all the DLC stuff returns.

Play from the disc channel and your problem will be solved.

Ok, is this related to a bug with USB Loader GX or something? I don't have this setup as a disc channel yet.

I'm pretty sure its a cios thing. It's not specific to usb loader gx. It's a problem with dlc when running the game from usb. If you run from disc through the disc channel then you get one save for each generation of dlc each 1 block. It doesn't matter how many songs are on your sd card the rb dlc stays at one block each.

Damn that sucks, was hoping with the advent of USB loading and such that the need to burn games to disc was gone
