Are you already on 3.2U? If you are, unistall it if it's a channel, then find a systemmenu-v289.wad from "somewhere" and install that from a wadmanager. Then start at Phase 2.

I'm not sure if the systemmenu wad is required, someone else will say if it isn't

gamma wont interfer, just uninstall it if you feel like it, otherwise leave it. Otherwise, just follow the guide from wherever you are in it.

Lol I should have known Gamma wouldn't interfere, I spent about 2 hours unistalling it a few days ago only to find out I just needed to run ARC

anyway, im on 3.2U (Yes) and ive got a custom health screen that i want to keep already installed, so i was planning to start from phase 2 and skip the part in i think phase 3, that you install the 00000042.app file for a custom health screen. the system menu 289 is to return to the regular health screen without updating. i also want to keep the BL gamma channel. the channel should interfere. i was thinking that the cios would interfere. the only cios that i installed is cIOS rev7.

is that right?

PS, i dont think you need the 289 wad for anything like that.

Can anyone with NTSC play PAL VC games. I tried both International Karate Plus C64 PAL.wad and Mayhem in Monsterland C64 PAL.wad that install fine. However, it just loads to a black screen like before I had softmii installed. I have the following set in my hacks.ini:

I thought that SoftMii was suppose to fix this, any ideas?

i have istalled softmii v9.0 i put my genuin disk in wont work.ave i semi bricked my wii
i have done this. i have install softmii 9.0 i then install softmill 9.5 but now i have to use the gammer chanel to load my orginal disks
if i go to the disk chanel i get black screen please help thanks

i have updated to 3.4E and still the same the game will come up and when you press start the screen gos black and it locks up

Im just about to install SoftMii 0.95 and have a few questions.
The wii is my girlfriends and i want to be able to play my back ups but i dont fancy the pirate skull splash screen at begining i dont think she would be too happy with that lol and i want to keep the BGM as well.

So what options do i untick to keep safety screen and BGM?

I am on 3.4U but have already done the TW hack and have HBC installed once i go down to 3.2 can i install wads?

Any help would be appriciated

I think softmii 1.0 is already out, but 0.95 is good too
to keep the healthscreen, don't run softmii tweak at the end
to keep the BGM, don't install the no BGM hack in preloader
And yes you can install wads on 3.2

How will this work if your wii is chiped? I would need to disable the software loader on the disc channel right? How?
