Hacking Homebrew app RiiConnect24 - Today & Tomorrow Channel does not install

Hello guys!

Recently I tried RiiConnect24 on vWii (WiiU) and its amazing.
I installed all channels except there is one problem...
The only that i really wanna play back is The Today & Tomorrow Channel.
So download the wad from RiiConnectPatcher but when i wanna install it i get this error.

Can someone pls help me?
I really wanna play this channel again!

U need to load a cios (like 249 or 250) or launch with ahbprot (with a properly configured meta.xml)... it tells you right in the screenshot you shared

Well I found a other way around it.
I had a BootMii Backup of my old wii that I sold.
But in that backup is the Today & Tomorrow Channel & Netflix installed. So I loaded the backup inside Dolphin and used Homebrew Channel in Dolphin. Then I dumped the channels to wad with Yet Another BlueDump MOD. I copyed the wads form the virtual sd-card form Dolphin to mine vwii sd-card.
I installed that dumped wad with wad manger and it works!!
If annyone has the same problem here are my dumped offical wads!

NOTE: These only are tested on Pal vWii so I guess this will not work on other regions
This zip has:

• Today & Tomorrow Channel (WAD) PAL
• Netflix (WAD) PAL (The Channel is discontinued, so you can't use it)

I wonder if that .wad u uploaded is only compatible with your specific language?
I kinda want that channel aswell but the riiconnect24 version just straight up doesnt want to install without AHPROT mode and im not gonna use that lmao

I have a similar problem. I can't download it with the Wii Shop Channel, as Nintendo closed it, and there's very limited stuff there nowadays. Is there a way to download it without the Wii Shop Channel?
