Alexander1970. You are awesome. Thank you so much for your help. Deleting my internet setting and setting them up again worked perfectly. It did hang up on the 1st vote but I was expecting that and it worked fine after restarting the wii. I look forward to seeing what all has been restored. Do you know if the riiconnect24 guys send messages directly to the wii like nintendo used to? If they do, I will have to look for them somewhere else since I am still on system 4.2View attachment 187400

I never heard of today and tomorrow channel. It looks like it was never released in my region.
I have not set up the wimmifi for Mario kart yet.
Maybe I will have some time to work on these this weekend.

It is that to publish images and write on the forum, takes for me a lot of my time (I would say an eternity), compare to you.

It is true that Mario Kart was really a success, I started playing with this game on the NDS Lite console, and I spend a lot of time.

RC24 will sometimes make announcements like Nintendo, but, 90% of the time, they will do it on their Discord server (this is likely because it's more convenient, and some people don't use standby mode in their Wii)

Also, Wii Mail is required for some in-game functions, like sending Friend Credits in Metroid Prime 3, or sending ghosts in Mario Kart Wii.

Yes. I haven't done so in a few months but last time I did. The wii lite up like normal to tell me I had mail. About 2 months ago the light stopped working. I have spoken to people on discord and they say their light stopped working too. I am unsure if my light will work with mail from another user. If you would like to test this with me, let me know.

I am a little worried,because it can not work.

In order to use Wii Mail you must be on Wii Menu version 4.3, otherwise it won’t work.

I remember reading that but all I know is, it works for me with menu 4.2. I get check mii out channel mail from them every week, I have gotten mail from other users after switching to riiconnet24. I don't get mario kart tournament mails though.

Then you should maybe inform them to correct it in their Guide.
Many Users will Update to 4.3x because using the RiiConnect´s Mail Option.

You are right. Maybe I will send them a message on discord. I should point out the only problem I had was weather and news was not working at 1st. This was due to my date and time not being correct for my region. After I fixed the date and time, no more problems. Occasionally I will get stuck trying to use everybody votes or check mii out but a simple reboot usually fixes it.

Uhmm when try to install the wad of Today and Tomorrow Channel from RiiConnect24 for vwii. It will not install it i get a error on WiiMod Lite Error! (ret = -4100) and yes its the right region. PLS Can someone help with this i really wanna play that channel again.

I've tried changing my DNS to the new one (Primary: 167.86.108.126, Secondary: 1.1.1.1) but the connection test failed, & keeps failing after everything I'm trying to do. I saw this, tried it, & it failed again.

I have a 4.3U
I have my SSID put in
TKIP security
Auto-obtain IP address set to "Yes"
Auto-obtain DNS set to "No" with the new DNS
Proxy Server set to "Don't Use"
MTU Value set to "0"

Is any of this set wrong? I have no clue to why the connection isn't connecting with the new DNS.

It works without adjusting DNS settings?

Could be your ISP is blocking the address?

I doubt this is the case, but if the issue is strictly with the connection TEST, I think there's a way to bypass it.

Literally I just noticed this yesterday, but the new priiloader beta hacks_hash.ini has a new hack to "Mark network con as tested". I haven't read up on this hack anywhere at all, but presumably if enabled u would be able to bypass a connection test. Then u should hopefully be able to save the connection and test it yourself manually to see if it's working. If it's still not working then we know the issue runs deeper.
