I just noticed to day while trying to play Metroid on the NES that the left button on the Wiimote D-Pad doesn't work (down when playing with it sideways). I thought maybe my controller was broken, but it works fine on other VC games that can be played with only the Wiimote (I tested with Sonic the Hedgehog), or when navigating menus, or basically any other time that it is used. It's not just one conroller though - all my Wiimotes do it! Strangley enough, it ONLY stops working on NES games! WTF?
