RetroArch won't load Final Fantasy VII

I was playing it just fine last night, I tried to load it today and I just get a black screen. It'll load other games just fine. This is really making me mad, I just made it to disc 2, I really don't want to start over.

Are you trying to load the game directly from Disc 2 or did you load Disc 1 first?
Are you using a .m3u file to load your game so retroarch know how to handle the disc swaps?

Yes I made an M3U file. I can't get to the part where it asks what disc to load. I see the Sony Computer Entertainment America, then it goes black. That's it. It stays black

use duckstation and don't support the shitheels that are retroarch. problem solved.
