Hello! I'm trying to burn games.
People have told me that a common problem with the PS1 is stuttering in video. I have a slightly different problem. Videos very rarely stutter for me, but regular loading in some games has problems.
I completed Dino Crisis 2 and sometimes the transition between locations or loading the save terminal lasted 25-30 seconds, but I was able to complete the game. Resident Evil 1 suffers from the same problem, but much more often. When I got to the scene where Jill is in danger of being crushed by the ceiling and Barry saves her, Jill simply did not leave the room. Barry opens the door, calls her, and she just stands there and the ceiling continues to fall, already entering her model.
What do these symptoms indicate? Do I need another console? I'm starting to feel like I'll never play properly on PS1 again.
