Four player arcade version requires you to use specific player slot for each character
Two player arcade version allow you to pick which character the player wants regardless of slot

JBD is japanese, UBC is english. EBC is also english, but it's european (PAL) version (No it doesn't have the 50FPS console pal games had) UBD should be the one you want. That's second revision usually fixing some bug or glitch. Like a 1.2 patch. So, which version do you recommend? JBD or UBC?
you need 2 roms go together for example 1st rom is parent and 2nd is cloned same issue as the simpsonSo, which version do you recommend? JBD or UBC?
sorry for the delay. but the palette doesnt actually change anything. its like the colors are jacked internallyThe GB cores probably have palette options. Open the quick menu, then go down to options. That should be options specific to the core you are running.

It wasAtari 7800. I think it was the first ever system to have backwards compatibility too.
I have a question for you and anyone else that's on the I have a Wii U that has Homebrew on it I have retroarch I have Super Nintendo and regular Nintendo and Sega Genesis working fine so I'm trying to get the 7800 Atari working on the Wii U and for some reason retroarch doesn't want to read the ROMs right or something I don't understand why the games are not working if you can help me out or someone on the site can help me out I would really appreciate it thank you so muchI've only got Stella working so far, and the repo is on GitHub. I've been working on getting the Atari 800 one working, but running in to some problems. I've got it producing an .atari800.cfg file, but even putting the locations of the BIOS files doesn't seem to help it locate them. I am pretty sure that's the error I'm having though, because after trying to load an Atari 5200 rom, it just shows a black screen and hangs there. It doesn't crash though.
It was

They removed it a long time ago (probably v1.7) but I'm not sure why.Is there still support for HID devices? I got my fightstick working on HID to VPad but could not get it to work on retroarch
Anyone else getting an error when trying to load a Core with the latest buildbot? (2 Jan)

All Cores I tried so far (snes/mgba)Which core is that?
You didnt see my post on discord then? The newest nightlies have a couple neat features:
I *think* the 1/9 nightly has the new code, since it was merged 20 hours ago. If not, watch for the 1/10 nightly.
- The zip now contains all of the assets, so installation is as easy as unzipping it to the root directory of your SD card.
- I made a change that produced a significant speedup in core startup time (I can't really say I "added" it because the fix was actually removing two lines of code)
