I stored my gamepad without battery somewhere in my house and I only use the pro controller. There are only few games that require exclusively the gamepad anyways (kirby, toad....).

Yeah just download and install this file with Wupinstaller y mod:

First time poster - long time lurker :)

I'd created an account as I'm going crazy trying to get Retroarch to install as a channel.

I've downloaded the Retroarch Launcher that was quoted on page 222, placed this into my 'install' folder on the SD Card, attempted to install it via WUP installer and got the error message in the attached pic.

I'm using Haxchi to load HBL and then running the WUP installer.

Help... please.

Did you run a CFW before? Doesn't seem so.

Thanks for the quick responses. I didn't think running a CFW was necessary. I'll install CBHC and give it a crack - appreciate the responses :)

No, why? Haxchi is completely enough for your needs!
Just be sure to put "sysmenu" anywhere in the haxchi config.txt and run it before you enter WUP Installer.
put it either to a button
Code:
a=sysmenu
or default
Code:
default=sysmenu
so it launches when you click Haxchi but don't press a button.
Wait until you're back at the homescreen, then enter HBL and WUP Installer. No need for CBHC as "sysmenu" is Haxchi CFW.

Edit: Of course you would need to run the Haxchi installer from the HBL again for the changes in config.txt to be active.

Its still nice to just have to turn on your system and bam! no fucking around, autopatch. but alas. this is a retroarch post, not haxchi

We only need 30 more bucks to meet the ransom demands of beetle psx dynarec. Its up to $120 now

While I agree the bounty itself isn't a big enough incentive, maybe there isn't much interest yet.
I really hope WiiSX team could take on the project. They already managed to make an excellent PowerPC dynarec for the Wii, so please port it to Wii U!

    Wish they would let us play the NCAA football 14 on newer xbox, its one of the only games I love and own on disc still, that is not back compatible, bs.

    @BigOnYa My dad recently bought a spare Series X off of me, got game pass, and saw Madden '24 on Game Pass, decided to try it out.

    ...He was a bit taken aback by the 60GB download size. Poor guy's still living in the 90s!

    @K3Nv2 He was looking into consoles for his house anyway (for my younger siblings and himself) and I had a spare XSX and Switch I ended up selling him at pretty steep cuts. I would just give them to him, but I did buy them with the intent to sell them... and college is super expensive.
