I couldn't even start 1.5.0. the A button doesn't respond

Yeah, there's something definitely amiss. You tried both the gamepad and Pro Controller, right? Did you delete all the config files before loading it up? If not, do so ASAP, it will boot fine the first time, but not the second. I don't even know anything else we can do at this point. I'm kicking myself because I didn't report this bug earlier, which made it go unnoticed and wound up in the mainline versions.

Tyrquake still not working on 1.5.0 "stable"...

Hmm, well, I did my part by reporting it, it's all dependent on when they have the time, definitely going to record a video of me setting it up, closing it, and loading it a second time to reproduce it. I'll also try it without Haxchi as well.

How would it that work on the Wii U and what would it do XD? And what version/build are you using?
I meant the mGBA core for RetroArch.
Not much really, other than making Super Mario Advance 4 with the colour restoration patch work on mGBA, that's all.

And I'm using 1.3.6/1.4.0 betas I believe. Can't recall exactly

That ROM patch wouldn't work on a regular emulator? (Could've sworn i saw that on that hacking site?) Time to roll back to a version that didn't make my Wii U blow up :P I don't even know if the devs read the recent bug reports.

The ROM patch works on other emulators, just not mGBA, it locks up at the "MARIO START!" message in mGBA when using the patch.
Endrift is already aware of the issue, it's just a matter of waiting for the fix to enable GBP mode support.

Very strange, well, either way, RA is completely borked as of 1.4.1 and its nightly builds, time to revert to 1.4.0 and prior *sigh*.

I have bluemsx as a standalone app in HBL, is there any other core not available in the official release? G&W, Atari ones for example?

Edit: I'm using RA 1.4.1, seems to work fine with multicore support.

Well I only have one ROM to test the 1.5.0 MAME core with atm but it doesn't seem to have had any fixes. Ninja Baseball Batman still has very bad sound issues.

EDIT: Actually after converting back to a 1.4.1 nightly I think it did tone it down a little bit but the sound overall is still very bad.

Wow, I'm surprised how well the screen looks rotated on the gamepad in MAME 2003. Thought I would have to squint a lot more. DoDonPachi runs perfectly. Really impressed with this port!
