That sounds promising, but I don't think that it can be intergrated. I really don't know. I never programmed before.

@LibretroRetroArc would there be any possibility in future for WIIU to WIIU network play?

Or even Retroarch to Retroarch network play? PS3 Retroarch snes Mario kart vs WIIU Retroarch snes Mario kart...

I mean theoretically, not a request (its a dream more than it's a request)
It more than likely can be a ported feature, but just not right now. I'm pretty sure that other cores are the main focus here

Yeah, first thing would be to have every single core running, and then everything else.

Also, how about DOSbox? Would it be possible to have it running using a USB keyboard and using the touch screen as a mouse?

There's a few DOS games i'm aching to play on my Wii U. Having PC Futbol 4 there would be godly (And i would never sleep again)

Letting me play fallout 1 and 2 would ruin my sleep schedule. BRING IT ON.

Actually the Wii U is so perfect for so many emulators it's almost surreal. I can't stop thinking about it since i read this thread. It's the perfect emulation machine (moreso for DS ffs)

I wonder hoy many cores will reach full speed emulation within userland mode.

Just tried it and I'm absolutely amazed how good this runs already!! Great work, thanks so much!
Only game not working for me in Snes9X 2010 is Super Mario World. But that doesn't matter as it's still an alpha ;)

What I'd really like to see is a way to integrate PadCon in this! Would this be possible somehow?? I'd like to turn the Gamepad Screen off in oder to save some battery.

Well, if the gamepad screen mirrors the TV it may be for the best to give the option but leaving it at that: An option

I mean, playing retro games on the gamepad is like the best thing ever, i can see myself using Retroarch mainly on the gamepad (I do already with VC games)

Is... is it possible?
I'm not the only one still playing Super Puzzle Fighter?
Of course you're not^^

it's can be tedious at time to hook up the CPS3 to my monitor, so I welcome being able to play 3s on wiiu :) (I hope to be able to use PS4 sticks on wiiu soon :D)

I think it would be great to be able to hit the - button on the gamepad to switch display modes like in most wiiu games.

Last edited by Azel,
Would disabling the gamepad give more power to the cores? Like say a ps1 game lags, would turning off the gamepad make it so the said ps1 game runs smoother?

Well of course Padcon should only be an option for users like me, that never ever play only on the gamepad and want to save some battery. For all users playing without TV the dualscreen setup is perfect of course ;)

I think it would be great to be able to hit the - button on the gamepad to switch display modes like in most wiiu games.

That would even be better!

God, i haven't been so hyped for a homebrew in a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery long time. This is even bigger than Snes9x for o3DS

I'm supposed to be on OS class right now dammit
