RetroArch on Switch cannot save core override on its own. It just creates an empty file. You have to manually edit the core.cfg-file; e.g. copy&paste the corresponding entry from the retroarch.cfg into the core.cfg.Apologies if this has already been covered - is there a bug on saving settings? For PS1 I always put 'threaded video' on and then try saving the override (any of the 3 options) but when I launch the game again the FMV is laggy and I have to change the setting again. Any way to fix this? Thanks!
The override is then loaded as it is upposed to. However, when you then load a game from a different core, RetroArch will completely crash and you have to reboot the Switch. To avoid that, you have to manually close every game in RetroArch, before loading a new one.
