Pegaswitch will be used to launch HBL it just got confirmed today
Damn, so I'd still have that Mii deletion issue if I'm about to use it.
That might sound weird but my friends 'n' me are using Miis in MK8D on a daily base so it would really suck to restore them everytime after using PegaSwitch. Guess I'll wait a bit longer then until a CFW or anything else without PegaSwitch comes out (or the Mii issue is getting fixed).
I'm more than curious what will be released this month and how it will turn out. Eitherway I guess it will be good for RetroArch. :)

Bit of newsflash regarding possible Switch development that could potentially serve towards speeding/porting stuff on the RetroArch side of things.

A user over at Patreon seems to be getting SDL2 working on the Switch!
https://www.patreon.com/posts/sdl2-switch-16940653

He seems to have audio working with SDL2, and he mentions he wants to start working on graphical stuff with SDL next.

This could potentially open up even more possibilities for cores and speed on RetroArch Switch :)

NICE! doesn't Mugen use SDL?? A good port if Mugen would be awesome on the Switch :)
Then there's Quake 3 Arena too. :)
and the Vice Core by rioray for Retroarch ;)

Is Wiiu able to EMULATE PS2??! wtf o.0?!
He's saying for more intensive Cores a gl driver would be needed since Software rendering just won't cut it for 3d Emulators like PS2/GC etc. We don't know if there will ever be a PS2 Emulator on Switch. But Id say doubtful?

Edit: WiiU :P u mean Switch? ;)

it would be exciting if switch will able to emulate ps2 game, or GC maybe there's hidden official Ninty emulator inside our tiny hybrid?

Would be cool to get HD GC VC on Switch and it's looking likely since they're coming to nvidias shield. I just hope it's not like on 3DS where the snes VC only came to NEW 3DS and we don't need a "Switch Plus" to play them :P

And then there's this as well:
https://github.com/mozzwald/wolf4sdl

I've been waiting AGES to be able to play Wolfenstein 3D in something that's not the original DOS game, since it doesn't run as well in my Wii U :P

It's unlikely the Switch will support the proper refresh rate for DOS games. In fact, virtually all DOS emulation is lousy because of frame rate conversion.

Maybe not have proper DosBox emulation, but Wolf4SDL and PrBoom could make it so that both Wolfenstein 3D and Doom run on a more native manner on the Switch.

This won't help emulators, since he is porting sdl2 to the official sdk, which makes sharing the code and binarys to non official switch developers illegal.

just wondering does 32x star wars arcade run full speed everytime on retroarch? on new 3ds the was slow, on original xbox it was up and down, i need someone to confirm if star wars arcade 32x runs fullspeed in picodrive on the switch now or if its still slow anyone?

Once you run this through PegaSwitch and connect to the game, do you need to stay connected to the network to play?
