The gba_bios.bin needs to be in SD://retroarch/core/system/

I did just what you said and now it gives me this. Where does the gsps or whatever it's called go? I put it in System as well but maybe i need to move it?

I did, and I think that's the one from Emuparadise. Yeah, 'could not load bios image'. I downloaded another though and it says the same thing. Where do I get one that will work?

You might have a bad bios. Try searching "gpsp gba_bios.bin" on Google.
Yes, the one from emuparadise doesn't work.

Niether did the other I tried. Any idea where a good one is? Oddly, the original did work for MGBA but not here.

Not here it isn't. And I'm putting in exactly what you said.

Yes, it is. You're just looking for a file called gba_bios.bin.

Just wanted to chime in; I followed teampleb's directions exactly (Searching "gpsp gba_bios.bin" in google) and found a working BIOS file from the very first link. Thanks teampleb!

I don't know if my bios is the problem now...the error is something about "content_playlist_push: Cannot push NULL or empty core info into the playlist". What does that mean?

If nothing is starting it's because you've got a bad bios. I've been through 184 pages of this. I know I'm correct.
