If someone isn't satisfied with Gabatte, he could try GameYob, with SGB colorize, plattes,borders,2Xresolution and consistantly 59-60 framerates.Of course, on OLD 3ds.
No need to persist in Gabatte

iI'm already using GameYob, however i love Retroarch from its PC version so i'm eager to test it now and then on my 3DS, and eventually use it.

about 20 fps with FFIX,

Then I will get 27 fps on o3ds
From a development perspective this is fantastic, yes! To achieve this over a night! But from a gamers perspective ps1 on (n)3ds is still unplayable... But I have 1000s of other games on my n3ds right now. So I can wait patiently :P

but if you have enough money to take a second hand PSP, psx emulation is not really interesting on 3ds....well i pray the emulation improves in futures nigthlys

Nice! Yeah, I bought a psp 10 years ago. Gave it to a friend a couple of months ago. Never liked it. PS1 on the psvita is however perfect! But there are around 20 games I would like to play that aren't for sale on the psvita...

I've just a simple question.
How do I use the PSX Emulator of RetroArch? Which files do I need? Do I just need to install the cia for it or do I need to do anything else, too?

Non CIA emu's will likely not ever be fullspeed with every game on o3DS. The games you specified run at their intended rates on my o3DS. Just continue gameyob or get a DSTwo or something so you can keep playing v-rally championship.

Where can I find a Tutorial to setup PSX Emulator + playing games with RetroArch on N3DS?
Yeah, I think there should be some noob friendly setup guide. Bios, button combination, important stuff etc. Either at first post. Or some other thread? I would like to write a tutorial. But there are many in this thread that know more about Retroarch than I do!
