Great, now SNES.

Same procedure... press Home on Wiimote to Menu and select Core then Nintendo SNES Next.dol. The Welcome window should greet you again, now select Settings/ Paths/Browser/SD:/ROMS/Nintendo/SNES/ and select <Use this directory> again.

Back out to Menu and select Core and load Nintendo SNES Next.dol again, now select Load Content and launch any SNES game. Are you successful again?

yes

Beautiful! You should be able to add any or all cores to apps folder and also the private folders included in the distribution. Use the same procedure when setting up each individual core.

There a many settings and additional features HEXAECO has to make your gaming experience authentic but also fresh. I suggest taking your time with each so you get more comfortable with how everything is set up.

As for the forwarder issue now! You are using Wii correct?

Which firmware are you using?

Are you using NTSC or PAL?

What method did you use to mod your Wii and how long ago did you mod?

Yes wii with NTSC 4.3U. Mod was a long time ago I couldn't tell you but I did have to update the version from 3.4 to 4.3 using a NUS downloader which I did a week ago and everything went smoothly.

Good you are updated...3.4 :) yeah we're talking nearly 20 years.

It is possible your setup is fine but I really do recommend using ModMii to update again. This way all bases are covered and your cios are current.

I noticed in one of your pics that your "wad" folder was incorrectly named "wads". Please fix that before proceeding and you have 3 Wad Installer options to choose from, all 3 work but I recommend in this order...

1. YAWM ModMii Edition

2. Some-YAWMM-Mod

3. WiiModLite

The forwarder channel is in fact one of my Wii channels and not my vWii channels correct? It is installing but not booting to Menu? What happens when you launch the HEXAECO Forwarder Channel?

I made sure to update with the latest cios and tested a wii game on usb loader gx and everything is good on that. I used YAWM Modmii and the wad not vwii wad to install it and it installs on my main menu but when I click the channel and click start it gives me a blank screen and reloads the wii menu

Ok, that issue will happen using the original boot dol but I have never been able to reproduce it with the Mednafen NeoPop core used as boot.dol which you are using ATM as well. Please uninstall the channel, then reinstall to test again please

Perfect, cios are not causing the issue. Give me a minute to throw together a HEXAECO stationary channel. I'll test before linking here:)

Here are stationary channels for Wii SS-HEXAECO Mod, all 3 tested working. Let me know if these are working for you @WonderingMud and anyone else interested.:)

Ah okay so I wasn't using the Hexaco wad I was trying to use the CPS2 forwarder wad but I was able to get your wad and the one from the Hexaco mod wad folder to install and both of them worked perfectly

@RunningSnakes Thank you for taking your time to help me! I never used RA before but I feel much more comfortable using it now. I hope someone could also benefit from it if they were also running into issues.

Sorry, I seen your 1st post and meant to reply but got busy and forgot. To answer your ?, I am not positive if the PS4 controller is compatible, do not have one to test.

i have only successfully got Wiimote, Classic and GameCube controllers to work. I believe the Wii U pro controller will work and @Charco verified a well known controller to work but cannot recall the name.

I have tested X360 and XONE wireless (not working) and a generic NES wired USB that also did not work. Sorry I don't have more info, maybe someone else can give more input.

Dumb question. I'm booting roms on mame 2003 plus core a. I get a black screen and I assume it's because of 240p output. I've tried 480i with composite cables and 480p with the wii2hdmi adapter. I'm using a modern LCD TV. How do I get these roms do display on the TV?

Edit: I had frameskip set to 3 and that is what caused the black screen. Setting it back to zero solved the problem.

Does anyone have control issues with mame core A, D or E? I get the vertical and horizontal on the analog stick but no diagonal. Is there a way to fix?

Edit: To solve the problem open menu - options - control mapping - select digital

Can I get a brief update on the "Unnoficial cores" like "Psykio" and "Cave" and whatever I might be missing that are NOT the MAME2003 Plus (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) cores?

If referring to other arcade cores, I believe PGM and Psikyo are the only others.

If using Frankenstein, many "unofficial" cores are included. The easiest way to differentiate is by checking text of included cores...any core that is 1.7.6, 1.7.7, 1.7.9, 1.8.1 are unofficial recompiles. I also gave credit on the text for any core that is not official to @Wiimpathy @SaulFabre and @ploggy

Every core included has been modified in one way or another, so actually all are Unofficial:)

I can't remember properly, but long time ago I tried the "Frankenstein" and it didn't worked with my "Full Non Merged 2003 Plus" roms (can't remember exactly).
So, I just want to max out the compatibility lists from 5K roms from "Full Non Merged 2003 Plus" by using all related/available "MAME 2003 Plus cores" besides the "A, B, C, D, E, F, G" ones and besides FB Alpha 2012, CPS1, CPS2, CPS3, NEOGEO and MAME2000.

If the "PGM" and "Psikyo" are the only ones related to this, then I guess I'll just start with the "more complete compatibility list".

EDIT: Of course, the "Official A, B, C, D, E, F, G + FBA + CPS1 + CPS2 + CPS3 + NEOGEO" should bring the compatibility list to +1000 actual working roms.

I have all working Arcade roms archived by folder...everything! PM me and I can help you find these if you are interested.:)

- other "unnoficial" cores

OR you saying that you only have the roms working with Frankenstein?
