So ps1 roms work on old 3ds? I really gonna try it.

They should "work", yes, but don't expect much. Even with a dynarec, PS1 games still don't reach full speed on N3DS, so O3DS will probably run them like a slideshow.

Does windows 95 also work on old 3ds? Have only seen it on new 3ds systems

Not yet.

Which is the last work nightly cia build? Tried 0207 and latest build, crashes when load content.

N3DS EMUNAND 10.5 ReiNAND.

Try 0602 then. For me it works.

EDIT : 1002 still hangs after selecting Load content.

Is the source for the 3ds branch available anywhere? I wanted to see if I could add a preview sound to the CIA versions like virtual console games have. (IE you'd hear the GBA startup sound when you select gpsp).

Is there a way to get Custom Viewport Height to 240? That would solve almost all scaling problems! :)

Set the aspect ratio to custom instead of whatever you have it to now, then it should use the custom viewport settings instead, if I'm not mistaken.

It doesn't do that unfortunately. But I found a ugly way to fix this. If Integer Scale=OFF. Then then we can have real custom 320x240 :)

The only little problem is that the whole picture will get stuck to the left of the screen :/

Edit: I fixed it with Custom Viewport X =40. Now I'm 100 % fucking satisfied with Gambatte :) Thank you Aliaspider :)

Edit the viewport X and Y. When you use custom viewports, the nice automatic positioning goes away, leaving it up to you to fix it.

For Gameboy you'd probably want the X position to be at (400 / 2) - (EMU_WIDTH / 2), where emu width is the viewport width you set. So 200 minus half of what your width is should do it.

I have been playing Game Boy games on many hardware platforms. Original GB, GBC, GBAs Goomba emulator, PSP, Dingoo, PC, DSiXL, 3DS, N3DSXL etc.

Goomba, Gameyob DS and Lameboy DS has been my favourites. But now the Gambette 3DS is among those favourites as well! :)

Just like in Gameyob DS, Solar Striker is so perfect with inverted colors :)

And I just killed the last boss in Baloon Kid! :)

Also, I found the commit that makes the latest nightlies freeze (when pressing Load Content), but I'm not sure what the proper fix is yet.

For now, just use the February 6 build if you want a fairly recent nightly.

Do you think it is difficult to add dynarec to Virtual Boy?

And there are actually some sound imperfections in Gambatte 3DS. But it is still waaay better than Gameyob3DS :)

It would be hard if the source emulator (in this case, Mednafen vb) doesn't already contain a RISC-to-ARM dynarec because one would have to be coded from scratch, which is a little bit beyond the scope of porting LibRetro.

In the case of PCSX ReARMed, gpSP and Picodrive's 32X and SVP support, dynarec already existed in the source emulators so these could simply be enabled.

Are .cht files confirmed working for Gambatte or Gpsp? I tried using the .cht exactly as describe through legit both GameGenie and Gameshark website with no success. Has anyone tried cheats with any of the pokemon games?

Another question,
Will RetroArch recreate these files and set my settings back to default if I delete them? retroarch-core-options.cfg and retroarch.cfg

Anyone?

So I tried playing Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Destiny yesterday. The problem is the sound. When I use sound sync the games run at 45 fps but when I turn the option off I have around 80 fps which is too fast.

I kept searching for an option to limit the FPS to 60 but I couldn't find anything. Is there such an option?
Or does anyone have another suggestion how to run those two games in a better way?
