As impressive as it is, the person has a 9.2 O3DS so it will be using dynarec. It won't run like that for .3dsx users.

I think at this point the number of 9.2 users has exploded because of the downgraders. I am one of these, yes.

So I tried playing Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Destiny yesterday. The problem is the sound. When I use sound sync the games run at 45 fps but when I turn the option off I have around 80 fps which is too fast.

I kept searching for an option to limit the FPS to 60 but I couldn't find anything. Is there such an option?
Or does anyone have another suggestion how to run those two games in a better way?

Settings / Throttling / Maximum run speed 1.0x

One question:

I have been testing all the filters. Many of them will slow down the emulators to around 50 FPS. Is this really normal? Perhaps it is time for me to delete my retroarch cfg file?

HELP! I can't seem to load Knuckles Chaotix! It always says: "RetroArch [libretro ERROR] :: plat_men_set_exec called with no svcControlProcessMemory access." Then it freezes. I have no idea what that means. I tried for 2 days and no luck. I have the BIOS files and everything. I'm using Picodrive on an old 3DS. Please tell me whats wrong. Thank you.

Picodrive only works as a CIA. Are you using the cia?

No, I'm not sure how to set up the cia version. Perhaps you could me directions please? But I can Genesis games just fine on Picodrive, just not 32x games...
You install it as with any other CIA file and then boot it up like with any other app in your Home menu, you should have no problems there.
And I meant 32x games through Picodrive require CIA AFAIK, otherwise 32x won't work.

Is this the right link for the cia downloads...https://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/nintendo/3ds/ (sorry for all the stupid questions, I'm new...)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

FYI as of 2-12 build, Load Content still freezes all the emulators.
So only build 1 works, if so, where can I find it?

A lot of people have commented about filters applying automatically for some reason, so I just deleted the filter folder completely.

Neither the Old nor New 3DS really have the free CPU resources to waste on filters.

for gpsp, most filters won't slow down the emulation ,I mean cia on n3ds . I think retroarch should add the screen shots feature for 3ds builds.
