I have a "R4i Gold 3DS RTS" and used it to play ds games on my New 3ds just fine. Then I used the flashcard to install ntr as my CFW. It went fine and Homebrew works great. One thing I don't like is using twloader for NDS games. Not every game is compatible, and it was so much easier with my flashcard. So I tried to use the flashcard, but get a white screen when I load from the 3DS menu page. I know I need to restore the flashcart to its original state, but the tutorials I have found use Luma3DS and when I do the Start-Powerbutton I have GodMode9.
Any suggestions as to restore the flashcard, or what I am doing wrong when it comes to the white screen.

-Thanks in advance

I have a similar problem, although its the reflashing firmware that Im having trouble with. It always says restore failed. Maybe Im not using the right one for this card? Any help would be appreciated.

I thought I did but its not on the micro sd card from my r4 card or my system card that I can find. If its not fixable I will just order a newer one, this one was fairly inexpensive. Would be cool to fix though

Did you happen to make a backup before flashing it for NTRboot?
I made a copy of everything that was on my SD card before flashing it for NTRBOOT. Is that what you mean? And I've tried to just copy those files onto a sd card and put it in the flashcard. But have the same problem.
Also the guide says to install Luma3D but how do I know it's installed?

He means a backup of the original firmware on the R4 card itself, not the microsd card in the R4.

Im having a similar problem, but mine fails halfway through reflashing the backup I downloaded. Mines either the wrong firmware or I bricked my card. Although Im still able to flash ntrboot to it again so Im kinda lost.

So I realized my mistake. I was putting the flashrom backup and flasher files on my flashcard sd card. I tried it on the 3DS's sd card and was able to properly get the red screen and to restore. But now when I try to go to my flashcard, it goes white screen, then blue screen on top and black on bottom. Should I try with different hardware revisions? Will it hurt if I restore again? Is there something wrong with my flashcard?

Another update:
I realized that I had to get "WOOD R4 V1.64" from the manufacture website and the files had to over-write the "V1.51C Kernel" files in the flashcard sd card. Now everything works and my NDS files boot up just fine. I think I'm all done for now. Thanks for the help.

I thought PS4/5 and Xbox One emulation would be kind of easy since they basically just a PC

    they sorta are a pc

so you have to learn to emulate that specific hardware which isn't as easy as you'd think

I think the only custom hardware is to do with the SSD and a security chip

    Probably combined in one chip

They place married security chips onto boards iirc

the ps3 used to support installing linux because the cpu was so powerful

At one point PC game pads where poorly supported, loading a game had setup, it was complicated. Now it's almost as easy as a console.
