Hi.
I bricked my 3DS. I was trying to downgrade to 2.1.0. but I accidentaly downgraded on SysNAND instead of RedNAND. So now my 3DS is bricked... I tried updating my 3DS through recovery mode. But it only loads to 1% and after a while says there was an error. Earlier on when I updated RedNAND I had the same issue, but it worked after a few attempts. In this case it doesn´t seem to work. Are there any other ways to unbrick my 3DS? Help would be much appriciated. Thanks in advance.

you will have to get a hardmod and flash an old backup
Thought this was the other only solution and it is, right? I can´t do this, so I guess my 3DS is as good as dead. R.I.P 3DS 2011-2016.

Do you have any nand backups made before you bricked?
Yes.

I mean you don't have to get a full hardmod. You can send it to @hundshamer and send your backup nand file to him and he can fix your bricked 3ds. It's cheaper than an actual hardmod.

Edit: it's like $20 for a restore.

Seems like a waste if the console is able to be repaired.
Well there are a few complications since I need to tell my parents and be granted their permission (they'll be very skeptic) and then I'll have to pay I guess. Of course I want my 3DS back but am I able to do it? Pardon for the late answer. I haven't been active since.

EDIT: Ok, I miss my 3DS a lot. I have regrets for what I did. I crave it everyday.

well if you have some good friends, have them send it up and recieve it back ;)
That way, your parents never know :P

Ok, it's isn't the most clean solution, doing things at the back of your parents, but if it's that and around €25 for fixing it or buying a new one, i sure knew what i would be doing :P

and @gamesquest1 is the best and most trusty one to send it to! he does an awesome job!

I'll consider it.
