Hacking Requesting pictures of Navy G6 Lites

hey guys, im thinking of getting a g6 lite within the next few days (tried to get it last week but it was sold out). But the thing is i have a navy ds lite and im worried that ill end up with a jet black replacement case rather than a navy one.

So i'm just hoping that you guys can help out and show me what the navy case actually looks like, and more importantly what it looks like inside a navy ds. That way i can at least tell if im getting the real deal when i make the request from the seller to send me one that comes with the navy shell.

I am too lazy to take pics but I can tell you I got a shipment of the g6 lite with the black covers. And it is black, no question about it. I traded a member for a navy blue case and it may look black in the dark (kind of like the navy blue does) but once you have any kind of decent light, it looks right on navy. In fact I'm quite impressed with the build/fit of the g6 lite as well as the color matchment. Even the feel of the case is kinda close....not quite as smooth as the original but definitely not enough to notice it's anything other than a dust cover looking @ it.

i had the same problem. i'm definitely looking at a black cart, and i was hoping for a navy...

To any of you with a black G6 Lite casing and wanting a navy blue one instead:

ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE!

There were plenty of G6 Lite buyers that I have encountered that own Black G6 Lite but didn't get that color casing. While GBATemp doesn't have a trading forum (for reasons they've explained but my short-term memory loss absorbed), you could always get lucky by combing the forum, among other sites, for people that are dealing with the parallel situation, and you could help each other out.

By the way, if you're in the States and willing to send first (case better be mint!), then I'm game to swapping my navy one out. I have a White DS Lite, so it's no matter to me. Though, that Onyx coming out is sweet.

i got my g6lite a few days ago and it came with 4 different cases. black, white, navy blue and that old big 4G case.

i think they ship it with 4 cases from now on because of all the colour trouble ....

they need to be offer consistent packages to consumers I think if they want to improve on this matter....though it's really a fine point to nitpick. It'd be nice if they offered packages that always include white and the GBA case and thereforth different combinations of other colors. E.g. GBA case, white, black, light blue or GBA case, white, navy blue, black.

I think it's always come with four cases, one phat size and three lite size.

yup, they've come with 4 for a while. I got white, navy blue, ice blue and gba sized. I'm thinkin of trading in the states for a black for ice or navy blue if anyone is interested.
