Here you go, I added all the other FPS "mods" there are.. please don't post else where, and credit to the original person who made the original patch.

Thank you! How can I use this on my switch? Do I need to make a cheats folder and put this inside of it? Thanks!
Or how can I run exefs patches on my Switch with Atmosphere. Thanks again for checking back :)

So what about when you use the 60fps mod, and have to use the speedhack with cheat engine to slow the game speed down..

That makes the Emulator show 60fps and the game speed run close or normal speed but still, with say a fps overlay like nvidia showing that it is only receiving 30fps.

So my question is, is this only changing what it says in the emulator and not actually what its pushing to the driver ??
Have tried with vsync on and off, seems cheatengine speedhack @0.5 only works with vsync on. :S

Can anyone shed some light on this please ?

I get that, thanks for the information.
But still not output of 60fps to Nvidia fps counter. Not sure why that is have checked driver profiles and global/3d settings. Resolution refresh checked.

99% of the posts from people saying "it works" are just snakeoil. They use CE to slow down a game after uncapping the framerate but the only thing they are achieving is extra steps to get the exact same 30FPS they had from the start.

Cheat Engine screws up FPS counters. Don't use it. You'll never get "bug free 60FPS" with it on emulators. The people that claim otherswise do not know what they're doing, it's a placebo that has a massive amount of confirmation bias that's been cultivated over the years.

What the patch alters doesn't really affect the emulator, just the way the game works itself. I suppose "game says it's allowed to" is accurate enough though.



As far as emulators go, you can remove the framerate limit on games just by disabling Vsync or their Frame Limiting / Speed % limiting. However, that is almost always going to be sped up universally across the game, as we all know. Doing this is just 30FPSx2, not 60FPS. Using CheatEngine to set the speed to x0.5 means you're just back at 30FPSx1 again.

In comparison, patches/mods allow you to change specifics and mitigate problems--and actually get true 60FPS along the way, but many game's functions don't support it (i.e. battle animations / attacks / physics / menu navigation, other effects.)

Presently the only benefit this patch has over uncapping the framerate is that the character model / weather / environment / movement / and mounts all support 60FPS, however the physics of each do not. Unfortunately everything else is still sped up because they're still set to a 30FPS timestep or don't have the data required to render the extra frames (referring to attack animations here, etc).

As it stands, it isn't worth using the current 60FPS patch unless you are going for scenery footage / background youtube content... at least until the underlying issues are resolved. Whether or not someone takes up the responsibility to resolve those issues has yet to be seen.

It's far from perfect, the game wil still lock to 60FPS, and any animation above the desired framerate will be sped up.

I will take a look and try to solve it when I get home later. At the moment, the best thing is to use an fps limiter equal to the framerate from the mod.

If you guys can try it and tell me if it's working on your ends.
Is there for 1.0.2?

It doesn't seem to work on Switch. Version 1.0.2, I simply put the exefs folder in /atmosphere/contents/01001F5010DFA000
Also I overclocked to max with sys-clk but it's still just capped at 30. I tried the 40fps version and 60fps version.
Tried both and docked and handheld mode
