@breaktemp
I can try it. You may have just unintentionally helped me find the personas and compendium.

Edit: Here ya go. I hope it doesn't glitch the game out

You are awesome !!

Just tested the QR-Code and it works ^_^"

More or less, since you can not summon persona that are higher in level than the main character, this technique allows one to summon any persona.

Scan the code in game...pay to summon from the QR-Book...equip and there you go.

The cool thing I found out is, after you complete a battle, the persona returns to it's original level.

I am very much looking forward to this and happy that I was able to help out.

does the pqchk work only for slot 1 save?
i was trying to modify exp of sizuma in slot 2 but it was always telling me "corrupted data" but not if i modify it on slot 1

@kiokoman
It should work for all of them. I just changed the exp for the first persona in my save two and it loaded right up and it shot up to level 99. If you can't get it working, upload or PM me your save. I can't say what's going on without looking at it.

yes, maybe i was doing something wrong but i can modify value until main character but nothing after him in slot 2

I got the checksum updating, but the only thing I've had time to find so far is the Yen.

Edit: Assuming I remembered the right linker options to make gcc statically link this, you should be able to use PQChk to update the checksum for now. Drag and drop your save into the exe and it should take care of it for you.

Oh, just noticed you edited your post !

So I should be able to edit the level of my sub persona with your "PQCheck" file ?

* is it also possible to edit sub persona attacks as well *

You have to hex edit the save file and after that "PQCheck" is able to correct the crc

It's actually not a crc. It's just a simple checksum-32. I'll upload the source for anyone interested. Before anyone says anything, I do this as a hobby, I'm not a pro. It should compile for just about any system too. I didn't use anything platform specific.

How's progress with the editor coming along?
Unfortunately, I never got too far with it. I have too much going on right now to devote a whole lot of time to 3DS projects. Part of the reason I released the PQChk source was so maybe someone else would look into it. I know I had it reading and editing character stats and yen, but that was pretty much it.

Where is the PQYen application??

uhh nvm

Being a noob at this would anyone make a Text tutorial on this? I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one confused. Thank you.

This is probably close but can't I request some personas level 1? Don't want anything rare just a jack frost and a Phoenix
