Hello everyone!

I used to play this game titled as one of the most addictive games out there, and my friend got it for his iPhone. The thing is your finger blocks most of the square so it's kinda hard to play especially if you have big fingers.

Anyway I was thinking that it could be a great idea for someone to make a clone of it for the DS. For those of you who do not know what game I'm talking about, click this link: Clicky

Possible Features:
blink.gif
-Use the stylus to guide the block
wacko.gif
-The four surrounding blocks speed up at each 5-10 second mark
yaypsp.gif
-Highscore feature with name inputting
yaynds.gif
-Using the top screen to have more room to dodge more incoming blocks to make it more challenging.
unsure.gif
-Options for different color backgrounds and blocks
moogle.gif
-Options for different shapes, bigger blocks etc,
hate2.gif
-Options for your DS to explode if you hit a block

So yeah, any other ideas would be great, but I would really like to see something (I would imagine as simple) like this ported to the DS if someone has the time/know how!

Thanks for your time,

i've played that before and it's okay, but i would not call it the most addicting game ever, and if someone made a homebrew of it i would probably download and play it but not very much. meh.

Thanks for the reply!

I know I wouldn't call it that too, but there are few games I find that are just there to pass the time that doesn't require a lot of thinking.

Tetris is the most addicting game out there. Period. Even if you play it for 10 minutes, you'll find yourself playing it in your head for the next hour. It's psychotic and it doesn't get old. Ever.

You could probably make a Tetris-like homebrew, although it would still just be another Tetris knockoff.

I swear theres a mario mini game sort of like this. Where you control the bomb and dodge the fireballs.

Hmm I didn't know that. Although I'm sure people who don't have that game and choose not to have it would prefer a smaller port.

Also there are many different types of Tetris and I'm a little tired of it. The NDS game Game Hits has a remake of Tetris, Frogger, Space Invaders and Pacman, and I have that already.

In either case this is just a request, so if anyone has some spare time I would really appreciate it. =)

Elite Beat Agents for DS

I still play it till today

i mean it sort of has the stuff you want....why not change.

well that's what i would classify as addictive...don't think anyone would be willing to make an exact version as the one you used to play though. read above posts.

but yet again that game sounds fun.

Well, is not java, is not flash... just a great javascript... what that mean? Is opensource, just look the sourcecode of webpage and enjoy! Port it should be easy!

Oh really? That's awesome news. Although I wish I knew exactly how to do that.

But that's much better and faster than coding from scratch.

Tetris is not addicting played for 2 minutes and got bored.

Wow thanks Joshua! I honestly didn't think it would make it to the Wii. I guess that will suffice. If anyone wants to take a crack at making a ported DS version feel free. I'd definitely download it.

Otherwise, thanks!
