    You don't wanna know. :P

This is what would happen if you convert AVI to MOFLEX and replace it on a video playing software like the Ambassador Program Video. Think of it: Endless possibilities if you use a MOFLEX converter if there is such one. Like putting TV Shows or Movies on there with no limit from the Camera app! Amazing right? Well, we're still waiting! ;)

And sorry if this is from the wrong place to say this. :(

But editing MOFLEX files is SORTA like ROM Hacking, right?

Many Users already requested a converter but there's still no one.
We are not able to do this yet...

Really? :( Cause, I thought the sound of the MOFLEX can be dumped already. Oh well.

In most cases .moflex video files don't contain audio at all. All audio tracks are external and stored in same place with all game sounds. I saw only a few roms where .moflex video files contain internal audio track.

I think this thread needs a forum section called "Nintendo 3DS Other Discussions", just in case in threads like this one I created be in the right place to talk about. But turning rock into gold thing is funny there. :rofl2:

Oh, that video I made? I created everything except for the Sparta Remix. Just so you'll know.

Does moflex even do 3D? If not, I don't see much of a point in using it as Sunshell already does 2D videos. (though how well it does it is not known by me as I have not attempted to use it yet). 3D support would depend on the game/app you hijack to play it.

its not so much the video, that's just a video in a 3DS frame.....kinda pointless, doesnt help make a MOFLEX converter/encoder, i think in future if you want something made make sure you include [REQUEST] or whatever in the title, plenty of people realize the advantages of having the MOFLEX video format figured out, i think if anyone was going to do it they would do it regardless of if someone make a video put in a 3DS frame on youtube

I think it does, because I was on the Japanese eShop once and I saw "3D" on the a few Disney movies (Yes, Japan eShop got some movies. Do you think it should be put on the ISO site I can't name?).

Your right: the words [REQUEST] would do.

And another thing: Yes, I edited with Sony Vegas to put the video on the 3DS crop. If it was filmed on camera (IF there was a MOFLEX converter), that would be different.

Yeah having at least one of those public would be nice. Though isn't there an Attack on Titan anime episode available on the eShop for USA? I could be wrong on that. I thought I saw something about that awhile back. I might have misread/misremembered it. :P

well there is the "3D Visual Experience" app, im pretty sure they would be using MOFLEX (although i havent looked) as nintendo own it as their own proprietary video file format so i guess they would focus on using mobiflex as much as possible and leasing it out to dev's, the original dev's (mobiclip) now known as N.E.R.D after they where taken over by nintendo

More important than playing stupid video on 3DS, the ability to encode/decode means we could add subtitles too translated and undubbed game videos.

I am currently working on decoding moflex files. I can demux the streams already and decode I-Frames of the video. I am currently working on the prediction frames part. After I finish the decoder, I will probably try to make an encoder aswell.

These 2 pictures are decoded from the course selection video of mk7:

So EFE is not dead after all, or will this be a different tool?

I think I will put it into EFE after it's finished. It is currently separate, but merging won't be difficult.

You should still work on EFE.

I got the prediction frames working aswell, and I present you the first version of my moflex player. It's still kinda work in process, as it does not care about the framerate yet and skips every second frame because that's most of the time the other eye and there are still some bugs in it, but it works:
    upload_2015-10-18_16-41-53.png
    Download: http://florian.nouwt.com/MobiclipDecoder.zip

I am going to fix the bugs as much as possible and I will try to refactor my code and understand how it actually works. (it's 100% dissassembly, so...) If I am able to understand it good enough, I will try to make an encoder.

Edit: Please react in the official topic: http://gbatemp.net/threads/released-moflex-player.400053/
