I would like there to be a way that you can type in a file URL into your 3DS and download a file to your SD card. For example, why transfer homebrew to your SD card when you can just DOWNLOAD it?

It's a lot faster to use a laptop to download, and have an FTP app in the background ready to transfer it, you know.

Of course, this is just rather than going to the trouble of making a complex homebrew app.

The webbrowser homebrew for Wii was pretty useful to get little files, I used it all the time to update my homebrews .

You simply remove your SDcard and you insert it in your card reader... If you have a slow card, well bad luck. But those requests are idiotic.

Yeah, there are some good homebrew downloaders out there, I do admit! But I also know that the downloaders have limited amounts of HB apps (there is perhaps no specific HB app on there that you managed to get and you needed it).

It is so fast to do it with a n3ds...

Anyway, just use FTP to transfer files.

If you want a 3DS homebrew downloader, well, lets just say someone is making one. ;)
