Now, I've been thinking a lot about possibilities of the 3ds. Since 3ds controller was a thing I was thinking is it possible to stream the gameplay on the 3ds to a computer without external products/modifications.

I would honestly want this. Does anyone know if it may be possible?

I would be incredibly shocked if this ended up working well. That was a tweet from September 9th though. Though since it's using NTR's debugger, this might mean it's only for kexploited systems.

All his tweets after that were his computer problems, and looking for a new PC. Probably won't be anytime soon.

This can and will use a shitload of CPU, which we all know the 3DS doesn't have. I'm damn surprised he got 1-2FPS. On the New3DS, you could use the Overclock plugin and stream old 3DS games at maybe slightly better, but probably never on thr old 3DS (with a good FPS)

Uhm he didn't say the game had low fps he just said the streamed footage did.

Then wait and hope it gets improved.

I am going to wait that is why I made this in the first place.

I know. I never said the game had low FPS.

was this on old 3ds?

you have to wonder if this can be improved if run on the second core of n3ds, with full clock speed.
Me and you have the exact same post count lol

Assuming that PoC doesn't do any encoding whatsoever, it's probably copying framebuffer contents over network. Not so much on CPU (maybe) but that's like sending raw pictures at 60fps over the 3DS's wifi.
Encoding is the only way to get a reasonable fps with that bandwidth. Though I doubt there's enough h/w left to do real time encoding. Maybe the N3DS's h/w video will help.
You're also limited to the syscore(s) (which run at 268MHz even on N3DS), unless you can pull some really weird hacking to get it on appcore(s).

You know, "Translations, modifications and various tools to edit ROMs!" is what the 3DS Rom hacking section is for. Keep that in mind next time you make a thread.
