Well you'll need a tri-wing screwdriver:
Tri-Wing Screwdriver

And the parts of touch screen:
TFT LCD Replacement Module for NDS Lite (Lower Screen)
Touch Screen Replacement Module for NDS Lite

Don't know what other things you need.

You can always try to get the module off, but I would suggest you try it before you order, so if you mess it up you can get a new one.

Theres no "safer" tutorial, they all accomplish the same thing... Just use the one you found, or a different one that you can understand.
