Hacking replacement shells ds

I have a ds lite.
Its 3 years old and the hinge has got a crack will buying a replacement shell help in reapiring it.
Dont want 2 buy a new 1 or the dsi

Yes the replacement case will sort it all out - just be careful and read a few guides before starting.

Yeah this will help as long as the damage is only on the case and nothing inside is broken.

I am planning on getting a replacement shell myself but just because i'm bored of the stock green one.

If the unit is still working - with a cracked hinge - the case will cover everything.
