Hacking Remote Joy Lite not working

I set up RJL fine -- on windows 8 so disabled sig reinforcement etc. I can get it to show the VSH (XMB) but when I load into a game (Either PSP or POPS) and all I get is a black screen. With POPS I've added the Flash0:/kd/usb.prx 1 line into the text file howevr this still doesn't work. I wanna stream my psp to my laptop but it's not working >.<

May someone give me advice?
