Does anyone remember the webpage for the game? I can't remember the game's name.
It had a really nice trailer showing the gameplay and everything.
Last I read on that page was that it was being ported to DS.

So, does anyone know what I'm talking about? please post if you do!

Kind regards, Elrinth

Holy crap, that looks sooo awesome!

Hope it does get ported soon. That's could easily be one of the best games ever judging by the screens alone!

I was just thinking about this one yesterday. Too bad the project is most likely dead. (No news since june 2006)

If you go to their forums, one of the admins (Vincent Dehaut) posts updates every now and then. The most recent one was on April 21, 2007, so the project is definitely NOT dead. It's just going really slowly, which is completely understandable. From the looks of it, they're a pretty small studio.

I should mention this game has a lot of stolen graphics, its quite the joke at various pixel art forums

it really does bother me seeing all that ripped off artwork.

I took a look at the screenshots on their page and my first reaction was "OMG! Chrono Trigger!"
So? The style is close to Chrono Trigger, very close in fact, but nothing was directly taken from it, at least as far as I can tell. The development team also confirmed this many times and as long as nobody has evidence to the contrary I'm inclined to belive them.

That sounds serious, coming from you... Any proof/examples?
Also remember when there was a project to translate the GBA Mother3 title?
That would've been cool.

There still is: http://www.mother3.org/

Starmen.net is also doing a translation. They have a pretty damn good team assembled, though they're not going to give us any updates on the progress until it's 100% done. From any other site, I'd be rather suspicious, but Starmen.net has no reason to lie about doing a translation project. I wonder which project will finish first... (if ever @_@)

QUOTE(Issac @ May 7 2007, 10:09 AM)hmm, is it really stolen?
I mean.. sure it looks quite a like.. but stolen?
Yeah.. how do you know it's stolen? They've said themselves that they've been influenced by Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI, so it's no coincidence that their graphics look similar. At most, they might've used CT sprites as a template to create their own. I don't consider that "stealing" though.

Well, tshu also doesn't have a reason to lie and he is a trusted person around these parts of the internet.
