Just wanted to give you a quick 'Thank You' for all your efforts in translating this. I've been looking forward to this sequel for years!! Many many thanks!

Must admit the sequel doesn't feel as 'personal' as the original. For some reason I just don't feel as personally connected to the main character as I did in the original. I had to practically force myself to continue playing the original the first time and was scared to do so

Great translation. Down to "3 days left" and enjoying about a day at at time.

Cheers:grog:

Can I request a soundtrack to this game somehow? I'd love to have this game's music available in my library. I have the first game's uhh, 4 I think main variants. But this one has so many even-better variants. Especially the True Ending credits music! :)

I heard there are a few eShop sequels? o.o What are those about?

The Sound EP, right? I think that's all that's available, unless someone skilled like Nagato can somehow convert the audio files stored in the ROM into something that can be played with an audio player.

Not only are there eShop games, there's even some semi-related thing on iOS and Android called 774 Deaths that is basically the platforming bits in NnGM. It kind of reminds me of one of those incredibly difficult Mario hacks.

Anyway, I think those eShop games are basically just the basic platforming bits seen in NnGM, without any story attached. I can't find much information on them because I read Japanese about as well as a hacker can steal someone's identity with a pair of JNCO jeans.

I saw some videos on youtube and yeah, they're primarily just the 8-bit death-platforming. Which is fine with me. I had fun with those.

And yeah, that's what I was hoping for. Some sort of audio rip from the ROM itself. :3

Hey, Nagato, I think I found a bug!

It's in the hotel. In the room where the note about suspicious people is, after the ghost girl appears on the ceiling and you touch the handprints. The locked door to the hidden stairs in the cursed game can be inspected prior to getting the key, but the text box that opens stays empty. I think it's probably supposed to say "It's locked." or some variation of that.

do i need the real jp game file as a source to get the game in patch

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

what is the source file

Life got in the way, but I finally cobbled together a music rip of Nanashi no Game and its sequel. It doesn't include anything off the EP, like the full, uncorrupted Nameless Theme, but it has those sweet ending themes that never got an official release.

Download it here.

The EP's on Youtube and elsewhere, if anyone's interested.
