I'm running it from CMD (using Python 3.4.3): python yw_save.py --decrypt --game yw game1.yw game1_decrypted.yw
This should also work with python 3.5

I've started working on an editor called WhisperTool, it's going to be a 3DS homebrew, but it's still way toooo far from finished.
Any updates on WhisperTool? Or did you give up? :)

you're using the outdated version , there is a support for the localized game recently , someone have mirror it , check the replies above your comment.
Do you still have the mirrored version of the yo kai editor 3 as i cant reap japanese and want to give myself some items

update: I was exporting my save with save eFl and when I put this save in the save editors, the error appeared . I then changed and exported my service with JK SAVE MANAGER and everything worked correctly!

the last updated drop for all save editors are here since someone reuploaded them due to deadlinks.
otherwise OP has dropped all public projects due to legal issues with save editing in Japan.

edit: AFAIK no one else has picked up these projects so this is genuinely the best you'll get for forseeable future

You people are going to be really lucky this time, I downloaded the 4 editors the 18 of december, so we have all of them preserved :)

Let's hope I don't get any trouble because of this, and I hope you all can save them too ;)
the yokai watch 2 one doesn't seem to work, when i try opening it it spams me that MSVCP120.dll and MSVCR120.dll is missing

After using the Yo-Kai Watch 1 save editor, my Yo-Kai HP are all out of wack. A bunch of my Yo-Kai have 1 hp, and my level 14 Wiglin has more hp than my level 60 Kyubi! All story progress and inventory is the same, but this is really confusing me.

You need to manually input HP iirc... haven't used it in a while so I can check

You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)

I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
