ROM Hack [Release] Yo-kai Watch save data decrypter / encrypter

Hi, I tried to edit a Select-A-Coin, Select-A-Coin+ and a Ghostly Goo in my YW2 Bony Spirit save, only the Select-A-Coin+ and a Ghostly Goo showed up..any ideas ?

Check the sequence of the numbers in relation with the other items you have (#1 and #2). It might be a problem there.

Select a coin isn't an importan item. Put in Item. Select a coin+ is important because you use it in the story when whisper gives it to you. Also do you know what to do with the ghostly goo?

it's for a post game quest : Nightmare Revelation, at the mount widewood, lucas (kid from YW1) tells about his nightmare, you're supposed to use it on a mirror (last battlefield mirror?). (The last boss from infinite inferno is supposed to drop the ghostly goo, but it's a rare drop)

You can take the ghostly goo to where the battle between the bonies and the fleshies was and you can get wobblwok(auto befreind)

Why don't you edit in the yokai from the choices you get from those specific select a coin.

I guess that would make sense, but I don't feel that confortable messing with Yokais and the medallion just yet (If I get this right I need to ad the yokai to both of those?), but I guess I should

Yeah they verify whether you entered the code in the eshop. But it isn't hard to add the yo kai in. Machonyan is pretty good too as he'll survive 2 hits after he faints.

Are you using the homebrew to play out of region games? If you have access to a cfw, just install the cia, there are no risks whatsoever. I haven't heard of anyone getting banned due to cia dlc/updates.

I'll see if I can use a CFW and install a DLC CIA there. Of course, my current version is 11.1.0.34U, so I don't know if I'll have to downgrade the firmware.

Otherwise, I'll just buy a Japanese 3DS, create a Japanese eShop account. and save myself some hassle.

You would need to pay someone to hardmod your system/do it yourself(experience is soldering needed) use an already hacked system to hack a target system, or pay some one to do it(cheap). I think these options would be cheaper than buying a JAP 3DS and you can use your game without booting in to homebrew because most CFW have region free. I'd recommend the second option as it is available for $5/$10.

I'm having trouble making my changes stick, I tried to edit the amount of money I have and hit apply then saved but it didn't do anything? Can someone help?

I think I will look into that. I have the 2.3 update .CIA for Red Cat Team but none of the methods I've tried have worked. I will probably just procure that service & have somebody else due the .CIA installing for me.

I'm clueless so... any good users who have the knowhow that I can pay?

so Yokai watch 3 Sukiyaki comes out in seven days. is the yokai watch 3 save editor going to be updated to be compatible with it

So is it possible when you update for Sukiyaki (assuming you do) That you can allow for streetpass editing? LIke so you can edit what yokai show up in the hotel thing even if you've not streetpassed anyone? as a way of 'legitimately' obtaining yokai like Tsuchinoko panda?

Hello, is there any way to edit gettogumi save data? I know gettogumi saves directly on the SD card instead of the 3DS so Im not sure how to extract it.

EDIT: I tried editing the gettogumi save from the ext data and now my save is corrupted, is there any way to fix it? bte do I have to modify the game1.yw in both yw-b_cb and db?
